Canada’s vast international education sector has a lot of space to offer to the Indian students who want to get quality higher education in different top disciplines including medical, engineering, science, commerce and information technology.
In order to cater the educational needs of the Indian students and provide them with proper guidance about the system of international education and immigration procedures, a consortium of nine Canadian universities plan to open their offices in three Indian cities including New Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai.
Canada’s Deputy High Commissioner to India, Jim Nickel, claims that his country is keen to provide academic brilliancy coupled with boarding and lodging facilities to the Indian students. In his opinion, this will strengthen the bilateral ties of the two states.
Nickel voiced these views while addressing at a two-day seminar in New Delhi entitled as “Diplomacy, Defence and Development: Canadian and Indian Perspective” on Tuesday, February 21.
Currently, Canada poses to be an ideal destination for the Indian students. According to a survey, the ratio of the Indian students seeking the Canadian study visas has increased four times since last couple of years.
Being the second biggest economy of the world, Canada is packed with opportunities which urge the Indian students to go there and pursue their professional careers after completing degrees.
Along with attracting the Indian students to Canada, a number of Canadian universities and colleges have forged academic ties with their Indian counterparts. The both sides often share scholars and teachers.
Thus, Canada is keen to provide every kind of facilities to the Indian students to get education and work for the betterment of their homeland which contains a huge population.
Canada’s welcoming posture is not confided to merely India; rather it always keeps its doors open for bright, talented and skilled immigrants from all parts of the world. It is the reason Canada is rapidly becoming a multicultural and diverse society.
