Maintenance of UK Apply Online Service Scheduled

United Kingdom Border Agency (UKBA) has announced scheduled maintenance of “Apply Online” service on May 26 and May 27, 2012.

The applicants trying to access the service from within UK may experience some disruption in the Apply Online services between 04:00PM on May 26 and 10:00AM on May 27, 2012 as result of the system maintenance.

The issues with accessing the service will be temporary and applicants may be able to use the service after an attempt again a few minutes later.

Applicants who wish to use the Apply Online service from countries other than the United Kingdom will experience no problems with the services and they should be able to submit the application using the Visa4UK service.

The UK Border Agency has stared a new uniformed online visa application system from March 5, 2012 putting an end to the traditional method of manual submission of forms forever.

The online visa application policy is applicable on all brands of the visas including study, work, visit and immigration. It is also equal for every region and every person of the world without discrimination.

Via online visa application system, the applicants can log on to the UKBA’s official website Visa4UK and fill up the application forms along with taking appointments from their nearby Visa Application Centres (VACs) for interviews.

Under the new system, an applicant has an option to get his/her interview scheduled according to the will and viability by paying some extra dues. These exclusive services include premium lounges, fast track and prime time.

The basic aim of the online procedure is to save time and money of the applicants along with making the visa processing simpler and quicker.
